- Inspection personnel hold a level 2 certification in compliance with SNT-TC-1° and/or EN 473; for the aeronautical field, they are qualified in compliance with EN 4179/NAS 410. For each test method, Bytest can rely on level 3 experts capable of defining technical procedures and keeping personnel constantly updated.
The Non destructive Testing Handbook provides the following definition: “The term NDT has been defined as including all testing methods used to examine or inspect a detail, material or system without compromising its future use”.
In order to meet clients’ requirements in terms of time and reliability of results, work at Bytest is organized on three shifts ensuring test repeatability and accuracy. The testing instruments are constantly updated with next-generation hardware and subject to periodical calibration.
Extensive experience in a wide range of operating fields enables Bytest to inspect details made both of metal alloys and composite materials. In addition, Bytest personnel are certified for the use and handling of ionizing radiation sources with SUVA and CAMARI-PCR certificates.
Bytest is also authorized by the Ministry to use, transport and own radioactive sources and radiogenic equipment in countries including France, Belgium and Switzerland.
