Disaster Recovery Assessment
The most recent banking, financial and government regulations place particular emphasis on implementing a disaster recovery system capable of restoring minimum operational conditions as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, such systems are the ultimate response to serious accidents and come into play when all other containment measures have failed.
The latest approach deals with risk management, incident handling, business continuity and disaster recovery processes as a “supply chain” specially designed for safeguarding ICT as well as other kinds of data and information.
The solution devised by TÜV Italia has the objective of providing an independent assessment, conducted by qualified, expert personnel, of disaster recovery processes and their actual strengths and (if any) weaknesses.
Our services at a glance
Back Office Assessment (BOA)
The assessment is performed by identifying and reviewing the relevant documents in order to accurately determine the necessary requirements and specifications in view of the final assessment.
On Field Assessment (OFA)
The assessment is performed during operating activities in order to evaluate the actual status of the process and verify any contractual requirements.
In both cases, the assessment is conducted in compliance with widely accepted and well-known standards including ISO/IEC 24762, or according to the organization’s requirements in connection to specific agreements.
