Quality system certification for welding under UNI EN ISO 3834
Industrial structural constructions normally undergo various welding processes. The complexity of this process requires the full involvement of all company departments. In order to ensure welding quality it is crucial to plan, implement and qualify processes and welders as well as inspect products in an adequate, exhaustive way.
The more welding companies operate in compliance with applicable standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 3834), international regulations and technical specifications – which set specific safety and process requirements – the more reliable and provable will be the quality of manufacturing processes and the resulting products. However, in order to accomplish this, awareness must be increased among all personnel involved, be it managerial, coordinating or operational.
TÜV Italia operates as third party organization accredited by Accredia, the Italian accreditation body.
